Mahal Foundation is an organization dedicated to the ending of systemic poverty in the Philippines. It works with people from all backgrounds, culture, religious beliefs, and creeds to raise awareness and funds for the fight to end poverty in the Philippines. Mahal began with two unique individuals sharing a heart and passion for orphans in the Philippines. After visiting different areas of the Philippines for many years, Del Augusta’s zeal to share his compassion with others grew. It was then when both, Del and Claudia, decided to put together a small benefit concert featuring local artists. The idea of a simple concert thrown in the heart of San Francisco to fundraise for a growing orphanage in the Philippines became more than just a simple one-time event – it was a lifelong commitment to help support and better the lives of those who live in poverty in the Philippines.
So with just a vision and a lot of passion, Mahal Foundation was formed in less than a year. The work that Mahal Foundation is building will last well beyond the years of its founders. Join us as we continue to write the history of Love?
